Measles
This is another very common viral rash,especially among children.It takes 11 days to usually show symptoms of a rash when your child contracts measles.You will first notice high fever and then a rash that starts to develop on the face and slowly will cover the neck and the torso.Soon the red blotches change to brown and the disease is also highly contagious.It is best to keep your child in quarantine and ask your doctor to make a home visit in case your child needs monitoring.
Fifth disease
This viral rash starts out as a sore throat and red eyes.At first you will notice that you or your child will have bright red cheeks,which also gave it its other name – Slapped Cheek disease.Soon, bright red rash appears on face,legs and torso that have a lacy pattern.This comes with cough and cold and no other serious complications.
Roseola
A viral rash that mostly affects infants and younger children,it starts out as a mild fever that can last up till 3 days.On the fourth day the fever breaks but the child is covered in red spots that are on the back,neck,torso and trunk.
